Another year, another lovely season for Kenyan coffee!

I think that coffee from the Kii washing station has made its way onto the subscription almost every year, and we have a list of wholesale customers who message us each year requesting updates on its arrival.

We have been offering coffee from Kii for the last 5 years. It is an easy coffee to buy and share due to its classic and distinct Kenyan winey-acidity profile. It always presents with a decent amount of wet-fermentation character each year, even more so than other Kenyan coffees.

When brewing Kii as filter, you can really be playful. If you like lighter, tea-like profiles you can do lighter 18:1 ratio brews. If you enjoy big punchy, fruit coffees, you can achieve blackcurrant cordial-like flavour bombs with 15:1 ratios and longer brewing times. It is a coffee with a lot of sweetness, so you can flexibly enjoy different styles of brewing without much compromise.
