This small lot comes to us through Jose Rivera, founder of Origin Coffee Lab in Cajamarca, Peru. Jose’s work focuses on education, transparency, and long-term producer relationships — helping farmers understand quality, costs, and value so coffee becomes a sustainable livelihood rather than a seasonal gamble.
Our release is a Typica Mejorado, a variety prized for its elegance and clarity. Produced in very limited volume and selected from small separated lots, it reflects careful farming, thoughtful processing, and the disciplined quality standards Jose has built across his producer network.
Only a small quantity of this coffee was available. It’s a concise expression of modern Peruvian coffee — floral, refined, and transparent — shaped by collaboration at origin and a shared commitment to doing coffee better, year after year.
