We are really dedicated to buying coffees from Caravela. They are a transparent importer and really care about relationships, from the farmer all the way to the roaster. This time we have chosen to find a new producer from the Nariño region, Dany Fausto. We will build and ongoing relationship with him and look forward to build a roasting understanding of his coffee.
This is a beautiful, jammy and vibrant coffee from the region and has the typical winey-ness of the longer wet fermentation. This is quite normal with most coffees from Nariño. This area of Colombia is also very competitive on quality and it drives the high prices and exceptional coffee.
