The farm has been in Arthur’s family since the 1950s, but today it is largely run by Josephine, who manages around 6,500 SL28 trees alongside avocado, banana, macadamia and other food crops. They also process all of their coffee themselves at a small wet mill on the property.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor us, Mbokam represents something exciting about the changing landscape of Kenyan coffee. Recent reforms have made it possible to buy directly from independent estates like this, creating a much closer relationship between the people producing the coffee and those buying it.
