This coffee comes from the Nkara washing Station, owned by the Dukunde Kawa and perhaps our favourite cooperative in Rwanda. The name Dukunde Kawa actually means ‘love coffee’ in Kinyarwanda (Rwanda’s official language). The Red Bourbon coffee cherries are picked by 100 members and are brought to Nkara washing station where the coffee is processed as a fully-washed coffee. The PB grading has tonnes of sweetness and great cleanliness. Notes of passionfruit, peach and maple syrup.
