El Faldon is a farm that cemented my (Ben) love of coffee, period. Arnulfo Leguizamo, the coffee producer, produced one of the highest scoring (94.05) Colombian coffees of all time and won the Colombia Cup of Excellence in 2011. Arnulfo is very proud to be a farmer and is recognised throughout Colombia by coffee farmers and international coffee buyers for his hard work and meticulous farming. His farm, El Faldon, is in Augustin, Huila. This coffee is a 100% Caturra variety grown at 1840 masl, it is processed with a 24-hour wet-ferment and finished with careful patio drying. His coffee beautifully exemplifies complexity and clean cup profiles from Colombia.
