Flavour Notes - Citric acidity, peach & blackberries

Kibari is an estate owned by Amos Mwanda. He produces about 2,500kg of coffee a year. This particular lot is a peaberry grading of only 120kg that we purchased at an auction here in Sydney. The auction was held to allow small volume roasters to purchase directly from a small estate producers in Kenya. We absolutely loved the initiative and were lucky enough to win it this lot in the bidding process. We hope to see more auctions like this to help producers fetch higher prices for their delicious coffees. Thanks to MTC group (importers) and Kenyacof (exporters) for allowing these producers to be noticed.
