We close our Peru microlot series with Nuwa Senchi, a coffee that was well-received last year and returns this season under the care of Sonia Díaz.

Sonia grew up in Cajamarca but found her path in Guamboya, where coffee became both her passion and her purpose. With degrees in Systems Engineering and Marketing, she brings technical knowledge and a thoughtful approach to managing the farm. At 22, she and her brother launched their coffee project, focusing on varieties such as Gesha and Marshell.

Today, Sonia manages an expanding farm, represents Gocta Coffee, mentors young producers, and contributed her expertise as part of the Cup of Excellence Peru program.
