It is a coffee that is produced by a family that works so hard to build up the coffee growers around them. The Bolivian geography is perfect for coffee growing, with a great altitude and also a very temperate climate for slow maturation of coffee cherries. The history of this region is not steeped in growing quality coffee however, it is a region previously used for the Bolivian drug trade via the farming of poppies.The switch to growing coffee is more than just an ethical move; it has also meant healthier farmland too, as the poppy is very demanding and strips the land.
